The great side event at the tournament will be the IL Blitz Championships held on Saturday night the 18th.
This is a chance to win a state title!, Last years event was exceptionally strong with the cut being around 2000 or so. The plans are to play 5 double rounds (10 games), so that you play your opponent with each color. Don't miss this opportunity.
